Dorothy Drain, DMD has been practicing dentistry for more than 25 years
She is the president and owner of Lakeside Dental Cosmetic & Family Dentistry in Sicklerville, and its only dentist. Her daughter, Brittany Preston, is a dental student at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and will join the practice after her residency.

Full arch implants
Eat, laugh and smile with confidence with All-on-4 implants
The All-on-4 technique uses four titanium posts implanted along the arch of the jaw and connected to a denture plate, replacing a complete arch of teeth. It is a minor two-hour surgery per arch, and it eliminates the need for bone grafts, because the posts are positioned in the most compact part of the jaw.
General anesthesia is not necessary — the procedure can be carried out under local anesthetic. No hospitalization is required and it is completed at our practice.
All-on-4 may be recommended when:
Missing, failing or damaged teeth severely affect daily life, eating habits, and self-confidence when smiling.
Dentures have been tried, but they don’t fit properly, cause discomfort, and risk embarrassing accidents.
Conventional implants aren’t an option, because of reduced bone density from tooth loss or gum disease.

Yes. Emergency calls and appointments are available and welcome, especially for new patients seeking help. Contact the office by phone or email, or book online.
We are in network with most PPO plans, including Delta, Aetna, Cigna, Principal, Sun Life, Teamsters, MetLife, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care and Meritain. To be sure we can work with yours, please call the office or confirm when making your first appointment.
We offer an in-house dental savings plan, and for patients without dental insurance we are happy to offer third-party lending opportunities such as CareCredit.
Dr. Drain prescribes sedative medication for patients who are nervous, taken before the dental visit.
Yes. We see children as young as three years old, in the same office as the rest of the family.
No. We do not offer orthodontics — we refer to several orthodontic practices for braces and Invisalign, and carry on with the rest of your dental care here.
We ask that you kindly provide us with 48 hours’ notice. We examine each patient thoroughly and set aside specific times, and the 48 hour notice allows us to offer that time to another patient if needed.
